1-2-1 TRAINING IN YOUR HOME OR OUTDOORS

In our Group Training we ask owners to come to class 20 minutes prior to the start time for an Induction and bring with them

  • Normal leads (not extending)

  • A Settle mat

1-2-1 TRAINING  AT HOME

The first few weeks when you bring your puppy home offers one of the really good times to teach your dog so many basic tasks. The only issue being your dog has not yet been vaccinated - we offer a Home visit to help you achieve this with a 1-2 hour session. This session deals with House training, mouthing, basic commands and much more.


1-2-1 INDIVIDUAL TRAINING COURSE FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG.
EACH SESSION LASTS AT LEAST AN HOUR AND TAKES PLACE WITHIN YOUR HOME AND LOCAL ENVIRONMENT. THIS SESSIONS INCLUDE BASICS OF DOG TRAINING -  MOVING ON TO OUTDOOR LEAD WALK, RECALLS ETC.
THIS IS IDEAL FOR PEOPLE WHO DO  NOT WISH TO TRAVEL OR JOIN A GROUP CLASS !

IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO HAVE A SINGLE 1-2-1 SESSION TO GET YOU STARTED

 MONTHLY DOG WALKING GROUP

DOG AWARENESS SCHEME

FREE!! This scheme is aimed at creating a safer environment for both children & dogs. It is available to schools, youth associations, cubs, scouts, brownies and the like. It main aim is to educate young people in how to safely approach an unknown dog. It can be a 1 off visit or continue for up to 7 weeks.C.R.B CHECKED
Our aim is to help you enjoy life with your dog whilst training and having fun.  Our  current class members have kindly donated goods for local Pet Rescue. 

FURTHER SERVICES
(Services highlighted RED are services offered under PERFECT K9 4U, all others are independant individuals.)
  • Dog Walking Services 
  • Pet Sitting service - we offer a service to owners who would prefer not to put their dogs into Kennels when they go on holiday or simply shopping for the day. Your dog can stay in it own home whilst the owner is away
  • Perfect K9 Owners Club - This club has started to promote responsible dog ownership you do not need to be a member of our training class. We are looking for owners to promote a safer environment for all and protect the areas where we can walk with our dogs. We will also discuss other issues too, ( more info on news page)
  • I.D. tags  - we now offer tags for your dogs
  • Walkies - Are you having difficulty getting out and about with your dog ?  Are you at work ? Whatever the reason contact us and will will try to locate a service for you
  • Gift Vouchers - never sure what to buy ?   A Perfect K9 4U voucher could be the answer. Use the voucher for lessons, leads, etc.
  • Home visits if required
  • Perfect K9 Chums - FREE! If you know of someone who would like a visit from a dog, then this could be the solution. Many people cannot home a dog, or have lost a dog  and  miss the company of a pet.  We can arrange for a visit by a dog to you in your home.  To put your mind at ease we have been CRB checked for this purpose. Please contact me if you would like a visit.
  • Holidays- Are you are holiday with your dogs? Looking for activities ? Why not try , Tracking, Obedience. Give us a call!
  • Rehoming - We have been asked to rehome dogs and occasionally asked if we know of a dog for rehoming - please feel free to get in touch and see if we can help !

OBEDIENCE TRAINING
As part of the
Good Citizen Dog Scheme we offer  the Puppy, Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards  
Many owners attend classes for various elements of training, it is not compulsory to take the awards.

Our classes are intended to be a fun way of training with your dog.  Our aim is to offer classes that are not too large. 

DOG WALKING AND PET SITTING SERVICES
We now offer a dog walking service for those unable to walk their dog whether that be due to work, incapacity etc
Our Pet sitting service allows your dog to be cared for in its home  when you are away. 

WORKING TRIALS FOR BEGINNERS
   

This course covers several elements in its training, one of which comes naturally to your dog,  using his nose. However should you wish to try single elements from this course please e mail us.







DISCLAIMER
Everyone who helps with our training classes does so on a voluntary basis. Any funds raised from the classes  after Insurance cover are re-invested in offering FREE activities our  Dog Awareness Scheme, Raising funds for charities and helping  the community.
